California High School Volleyball - Whittell tips Coleville

October 5, 2023: Coleville, CA 93517

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Whittell Warriors (Zephyr Cove, NV) and the host Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA), saw Whittell's volleyball squad nip Coleville by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Whittell upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV) to play the Lakers in a 1A Western bout on Monday, October 9. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Pyramid Lake won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV)

The Wolves now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Valley for a 1A Western bout on Saturday, October 7. Coleville will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-2.
