The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) and the host Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), saw Rockingham County's volleyball squad beat Dudley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Rockingham County upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Walkertown won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Reidsville (Reidsville, NC)

The Panthers now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, October 10. Dudley will play a Storm squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Storm record now stands at 10-9.
