Georgia High School Volleyball - Effingham County tips Statesboro

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) and the visiting Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), saw Effingham County's volleyball squad nip Statesboro by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Effingham County upgrades its record to 23-12 on the year. The Rebels host Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Calvary Day won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Long County (Ludowici, GA)

The Blue Devils now own a 18-17 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Day for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. Statesboro will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-13.
