The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) and the host Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), saw Elmwood Park's volleyball squad beat Westmont by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Elmwood Park upgrades its record to 20-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-12.
The Sentinels now own a 5-21 record. They play next when they travel to Islamic Foundation for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Westmont will play a Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 14-6.
