With the win, Marlboro upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) to play the Garnet Gulls in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Garnet Gulls go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Point Pleasant Beach won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ)

The Colonials now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Middletown North for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Freehold Boro will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-10.
