The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) and the host Griswold Grizzlies (Helix, OR), saw Union's volleyball squad beat Griswold by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Bobcats host Sherman (Moro, OR) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Sherman won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR)

The Grizzlies now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Cove for a 1A Old Oregon bout on Saturday, October 7. Griswold will play a Leopards squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Union (Union, OR). The Leopards record now stands at 7-12.
