In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Leslie County Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Harlan Green Dragons.
The Eagles (17-12) will now prepare for their battle against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 9-16 record. In their last battle, Rowan County lost by Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Green Dragons encounter the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 9. Harlan will attempt to advance on its 2-17 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY).
