The Oscar Smith Tigers volleyball team (Chesapeake, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA)

The Braves (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the Southeastern challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Hickory was dropped by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Oscar Smith will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
