Missouri High School Volleyball - Lafayette over Marquette

October 5, 2023: Wildwood, MO 63011

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) and the visiting Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO), saw Lafayette's volleyball squad beat Marquette by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 21-2 on the year. The Lancers host Howell Central (St. Charles, MO) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 20-8.

The Mustangs now own a 26-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ritenour for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Marquette will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Parkway South (Manchester, MO). The Huskies record now stands at 7-5.
