The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) and the visiting Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC), saw Oceanside Collegiate Academy's volleyball squad beat Lake Marion by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Oceanside Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Landsharks travel to Bishop England (Charleston, SC) to play the Battling Bishops in a AA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Battling Bishops go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Bishop England won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)

The Gators now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Academic Magnet for a AA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, October 10.
