The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) and the host Louisville Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), saw Notre Dame (SO)'s volleyball squad beat Louisville by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Notre Dame (SO) upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Knights travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 15-11. Mary Star of the Sea won 3-0 in their recent league bout against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA)

The Royals now own a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculate Heart for a Angeles bout on Monday, October 9. Louisville will play a Pandas squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Pandas record now stands at 8-17.
