The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA) and the host Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), saw Luray's volleyball squad nip Madison County by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Luray upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to play the Falcons in a Bull Run bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 14-1.

The Mountaineers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Orange County for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Madison County will play a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 2-10.
