The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN) and the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN), saw Melrose's volleyball squad beat Sauk Centre by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Melrose upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Dutchmen travel to Kittson Central (Hallock, MN) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Kittson Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Roseau (Roseau, MN)
With the loss, Sauk Centre drops to 11-4 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters travel to B O L D (Olivia, MN) to clash with the Warriors in a West Central match on Tuesday, October 10. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 17-2. B O L D won 3-0 in their recent league match against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN)
