The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR) and the visiting Toledo Boomers (Toledo, OR), saw Monroe's volleyball squad beat Toledo by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Dragons host Oregon Episcopal (Portland, OR) to play the Aardvarks in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Aardvarks go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Oregon Episcopal won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR)

The Boomers now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to East Linn Christian Academy for a 2A Valley Coast bout on Tuesday, October 10. Toledo will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lowell (Lowell, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-12.
