In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rice Memorial Green Knights.

The Cougars now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellows Free Academy for a game on Tuesday, October 10. Mt. Mansfield will confront a Bobwhites/Comets team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets record now stands at 6-3.

The Green Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Seahorses enter the game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Burlington dropped by Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT), 3-0, in a league game.
