The North Marion Huskies volleyball team (Aurora, OR), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Newport Cubs (Newport, OR)

The Cubs (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Philomath (Philomath, OR). The Warriors enter the 4A Oregon West challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Philomath was dropped by Cascade (Turner, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) in a 4A Oregon West challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. North Marion will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR).
