The Riverheads Gladiators volleyball team (Staunton, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA)

The Green Hornets (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm enter the Shenandoah challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Staunton defeated Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators meet the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Riverheads will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
