The Tatnall Hornets held off the visiting Sanford Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Hornets now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington Friends for a Independent Schools test on Tuesday, October 10. Tatnall will confront a Quakers team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE). The Quakers record now stands at 6-2.
The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, St. Georges Tech held off Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
