The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) and the host Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA), saw Southampton's volleyball squad beat Sussex Central by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Southampton upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Indians travel to Surry County (Dendron, VA) to play the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-12.
The Tigers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech for a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, October 10.
