North Carolina High School Volleyball - Western Guilford tips Southeast Guilford

October 5, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27410

In Thursday's league contest, the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Hornets face the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 9. Western Guilford will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 18-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).

With the loss, Southeast Guilford moves to 7-12 on the year. The Falcons host Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to face the Vikings in a Metro 4A contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 7-10. Northwest Guilford won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)
