North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Durham over Vance County

October 5, 2023: Durham, NC 27703

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Southern Durham Spartans (Durham, NC) and the visiting Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), saw Southern Durham's volleyball squad beat Vance County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Southern Durham upgrades its record to 11-9 on the year. The Spartans travel to Hillside (Durham, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Hillside lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)

The Vipers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Louisburg for a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A bout on Monday, October 9. Vance County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 12-7.
