North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wayne Christian over Epiphany

The Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) volleyball overcame the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Wayne Christian betters its record to 12-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Greenfield (Wilson, NC) to face the Knights in a NCISAA Coastal Plain outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 7-11. Greenfield won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC)

The Falcons now sport a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Wayne Country Day for a NCISAA Coastal Plain outing on Tuesday, October 10. Epiphany will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 1-13.
