Next up, the Pioneers battle the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 9. Thomas Walker will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Black Bears come into the contest with a 16-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Barbourville (Barbourville, KY).

With the loss, Twin Springs drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Titans host Castlewood (Castlewood, VA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Cumberland contest on Wednesday, October 11. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 8-6. Castlewood lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)
