DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN), 49-37 in a non-league battle.

With the win, DeKalb advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Barons travel to South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-0. South Bend Adams won 38-14 in their recent non-league battle against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)

The Knights now own a 6-5 record.
