New York High School Football - Carey tops Mepham

The Carey Seahawks football squad scored 27 points and held the visiting Mepham Pirates to 14 in the Seahawks league victory on Saturday.
The Seahawks (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (Levittown, NY). The Generals enter the Section 8 Conference II contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, MacArthur thwarted Calhoun (Merrick, NY), 24-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Jericho Jayhawks (Jericho, NY) in a Section 8 Conference II contest, on Thursday, October 10. Mepham will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Jayhawks enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 40-0 league loss to Roosevelt (Roosevelt, NY).
