Champlain Valley Union will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-21 non-league loss to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Middlebury drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Essex (Essex Junction, VT) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-2. Essex won 40-34 in their recent non-league test against Rutland (Rutland, VT)
