New Mexico High School Football - Miyamura sneaks past Highland

October 5, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87108

The Miyamura Patriots football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Highland Hornets to 31 in the Patriots league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a 5A District 1 test on Friday, October 18. Miyamura will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 25-12 league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Highland drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Belen (Belen, NM) to meet the Eagles in a 5A District 1 test on Thursday, October 17. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-4. Belen lost 36-34 in their recent league test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
