In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Alameda Hornets.
The Yellowjackets (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Foothill lost by Granada (Livermore, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 11. Alameda will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
