The Simley Spartans held off the visiting North Polars soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Polars (1-12) will now prepare for their bout against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Fridley nudged Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN), 5-2, in a league bout.
