The New London Whalers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Killingly Redmen to 0 in the Whalers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Whalers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Griswold for a Eastern Connecticut III bout on Tuesday, October 8. New London will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Killingly moves to 7-4 on the year. The Redmen host Ledyard (Ledyard, CT) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Ledyard lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)
