In Saturday's league contest, the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) soccer team edged the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Pandas face the Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) in a Class D - North contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Lee Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 9-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Central (East Corinth, ME).
The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, George Stevens Academy was nipped by Mount View (Thorndike, ME), 3-1, in a league contest.
