Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) and the visiting Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ), saw Timber Creek Regional's soccer squad hold off Triton by a count of 2-1.

The Chargers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ). The Tartans enter the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Highland Regional was edged by Triton (Runnemede, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
