The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Amite School Center Rebels (Liberty, MS) and the host Marshall Academy Patriots (Holly Springs, MS), observed Amite School Center's softball team get by Marshall Academy by a tally of 10-7.

The Rebels (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 24-10 record. In their last bout, Tri-County Academy tipped Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS), 10-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 8. Marshall Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 24-10 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS).
