The Sturgeon Bulldogs softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Atlanta Hornets to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wellsville-Middletown for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. Sturgeon will confront a Tigers team coming off a 22-0 league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-12.

With the loss, Atlanta moves to 5-12 on the season. The Hornets travel to North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO) to confront the Raiders in a Class 1 District 10 battle on Monday, October 7. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 12-6. North Shelby won 11-0 in their recent non-league battle against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO)
