The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Webb City Cardinals (Webb City, MO) and the host Branson Pirates (Branson, MO), observed Webb City's softball team prevail over Branson by a tally of 14-4.

The Cardinals (21-9) will now prepare for their bout against Monett (Monett, MO). The Cubs go into the non-league bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, Monett knocked off Cassville (Cassville, MO), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 7. Branson will attempt to advance on its 14-13 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-19 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO).
