The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Centralia Panthers (Centralia, MO) and the host Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO), observed Centralia's softball team notch a victory over Smith-Cotton by a tally of 19-0.

The Panthers (24-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 15-4 record. In their last bout, Hallsville gained a win over Eldon (Eldon, MO), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the North Callaway Thunderbirds (Kingdom City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 5. Smith-Cotton will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 17-9 record after their 8-0 league win over Silex (Silex, MO).
