In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting DeSoto Dragons softball team scored a nice 11-0 victory over the Van Buren Bulldogs.

The Dragons (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO). The Mules go into the non-league match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, Poplar Bluff was routed by Central (Cape Girardeau, MO), 8-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 5. Van Buren will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Mules go into the match with a 6-11 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Central (Cape Girardeau, MO).
