The Wright City Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Kirksville Tigers to 6 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermann for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. Wright City will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over St. James (St. James, MO). The Bearcats record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Kirksville moves to 10-15 on the season. The Tigers travel to North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO) to confront the Thunderbirds in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a record of 17-9. North Callaway won 8-0 in their recent league battle against Silex (Silex, MO)
