In Saturday's non-league match, the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) volleyball squad tipped the host Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 5. Airline will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to John Ehret (Marrero, LA).
The Golden Tors (19-11) will now prepare for their match against Houma Christian (Houma, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Houma Christian held off West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA), 3-0, in a league match.
