Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) and the visiting Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD), observed Avon's volleyball team top Andes Central/Dakota Christian by a tally of 2-0.

The Pirates (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Gayville-Volin beat Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
