The Andrew Thunderbolts beat the host Chicago Washington Patriots volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Thunderbolts (7-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros come into the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Shepard beat Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Chicago Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Meteors come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL).
