The Mustangs (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Ascension Christian beat Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Comets meet the West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Wolfpack enter the contest with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
