Michigan High School Volleyball - Ubly over Bad Axe

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) and the host Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), observed Ubly's volleyball team top Bad Axe by a count of 2-0.

The Bearcats (28-3) will now prepare for their contest against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 16-15 record. In their last contest, Croswell-Lexington was knocked off by Richmond (Richmond, MI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Hatchets battle the Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West contest, on Thursday, October 10. Bad Axe will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Lakers enter the contest with a 0-15 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fellowship Baptist Academy (Carson City, MI).
