With the win, Chaparral advances its record to 16-12 on the season. The Roadrunners host Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 11-14. Smoky Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Chapman (Chapman, KS)

The Dragons now sport a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Academy for a Central Plains test on Tuesday, October 8. Belle Plaine will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Knights record now stands at 20-4.
