West Virginia High School Volleyball - Midland Trail over Bluefield

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) and the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), observed Midland Trail's volleyball team top Bluefield by a count of 2-0.

The Patriots (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sherman (Seth, WV). The Tide enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Sherman notched a victory over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Beavers battle the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Bluefield will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 7-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV).
