In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Buffalo Grove Bison.

The Mustangs (23-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies come into the Mid-Suburban challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Hersey edged Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) in a Mid-Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Buffalo Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL).
