Mackinac Island Lakers (Mackinac Island, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mackinac Island improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Lakers host Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI) to face the Black Bears in a Northern Lights test on Saturday, October 5. The Black Bears go into the test with a record of 3-8. Maplewood Baptist Academy won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI)

The Trojans now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mackinac Island for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Cedarville will face a Lakers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter (Brimley, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 10-3.
