Texas High School Volleyball - Cigarroa bounced by Rio Grande City

Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Rio Grande City improves its record to 14-16 on the season. The Rattlers host Palmview (La Joya, TX) to face the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, October 8. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 17-11. Palmview won 3-0 in their recent league test against Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX)

The Toros now own a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin for a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, October 8. Cigarroa will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-16.
