Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) and the visiting Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), witnessed Muncie Central's volleyball team get by Fort Wayne Northrop by a margin of 2-1.

The Bearcats now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Goshen for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Muncie Central will clash with a RedHawks team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, IN). The RedHawks record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Fort Wayne Northrop drops to 4-24 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Huntington North (Huntington, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5.
