The Gretna East Griffins topped the host Kearney Bearcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Griffins confront the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 5. Gretna East will attempt to advance on its 22-6 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 14-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Norris (Firth, NE).

The Bearcats (9-14) will now prepare for their game against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers go into the A District game with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Norfolk was dropped by Fremont (Fremont, NE), 3-0, in a league game.
